Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology journal started using DOI® numbers Dear Colleagues, Our application for the assignment of DOI® (Digital Object Identifier) numbers for our journal, Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, has been accepted and the DOI® system is now in use at our journal's website. This system enables the rendering of "accepted but unpublished" scientific articles as "published" articles. Articles accepted for publication in our journal have thereby been assigned DOI® numbers. The Higher Education Council of Turkey also takes into consideration the articles with DOI® numbers in its management of academic promotions. Articles assigned with DOI® numbers can be accessed through the left-sided menu at our journal's website http://www.dirjournal.org. You can search for your articles using DOI® search engines through websites http://dx.doi.org or http://www.crossref.org during the first couple of weeks, as it may be difficult to access them during that time through Google and similar common search engines which will retrieve the articles according to the number of clicks they receive.
