    ABSTRACT

    The air crescent sign is a well-known important diagnostic nding in invasive pulmonary aspergillosis. Herein we report a distinctive but rare ultrasonographic appearance in a patient with myositis secondary to Aspergillus vus infection, which can be considered as the soft tissue counterpart of the air cres- cent sign.
