One of the manifestations of amyloidosis is involvement of the gastrointestinal system. Involvement of the abdominal organs has variable presentations mostly without specific findings. The objective of our study was to illustrate the computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR) imaging findings of abdominal involvement in systemic amyloidosis. Heterogeneous appearance of liver, periportal involvement, diffuse low signal intensity of spleen on T2-weighted MR imaging and thickened bowel wall could be helpful imaging findings with presence or history of chronic inflammatory disease and clinic suspicion for amyloidosis.
